The Ilketshall Wensleydale flock was started in 2006 and has grown to be 35 breeding ewes and two stud rams. Our sheep graze the parkland at home, with the best of them winning prizes at the Suffolk and Norfolk County Shows. We lamb our Wensleydale flock in April so that the lambs can benefit from the spring grass and hopefully the warm sunshine. The ewes are prolific and good mothers.
Our sheep are sheared annually and the fleeces are processed using as few chemicals and dyes as possible to retain the natural beauty and lustre in the wool.
